Before embracing proper testing, my development process relied heavily on intuition. I would write code, run manual checks, visually inspect the results, and deploy if everything appeared correct. However, adopting a rigorous testing approach completely revolutionized my workflow.

Each code modification felt like a gamble. I could inadvertently introduce new bugs while fixing existing ones. Manual testing often consumed more time than actual coding. The dreaded scenario of confidently deploying to production, only to encounter unforeseen bugs, was all too familiar.
